We're especially lucky this year because 1708 Gallery's annual Inlight exhibition is happening right in our neighborhood. Our ongoing collaborative stop-motion animation will be part of the show, and now's your chance to design your own character to add to it.
This community project was inspired by work from our Intro to Animation classes for elementary and middle school students at the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club and Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School. Participants explored traditional and experimental animation techniques and were introduced to a range of careers in animation by guest speakers and visiting artists.

1708 is providing free shuttles to Chimborazo Park from Stone Brewing and Gillies Creek Park between 6:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
