Laneecia Ricks

Fine Arts Fashion Photographer

Laneecia (LA) Ricks is a 21 year old fashion photographer, portrait photographer, and filmmaker located in Richmond, Virginia. Her work focuses on Black subjects in the high fashion editorial industry. She is currently studying filmmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her work has been featured in 'New Wave Magazine' by 'MOB Journal', and the 

'Reebok Most Extra Campaign'. LA is also the founder and Co-Director of 'BLK Runway', a creative collective of Black artists, fashion professionals, and students from VCU who have all come together with the singular goal of highlighting Black beauty and fashion talent in Richmond since May of 2022.

Jon Cope

Creative Arts & Culture Coordinator

Jonathan Copeland (Jon Cope) is a Multi-hyphenate Fashion Stylist, Creative Director, actor and host based in Richmond, VA. Copeland has over 10 years of experience in fashion retail, visual merchandising, blogging, magazine publication, public speaking, fashion event planning and hosting. Copeland has recently established a media company, In My Fashion Media (IMF MEDIA), geared towards social impact for BIPOC, Queer, and marginalized businesses by creating uniquely heart-felt and resonating content that engages audiences towards inspired action to support businesses that aspire to contribute to social equality and wellbeing. He is also a youth educator, community organizer, and certified yoga instructor.

As a contributor to RVA MAG, Jon wrote an article that features “BLK RUNWAY.” This fashion show is run by Laneecia Ricks and her creative collective to highlight black beauty and fashion talent in Richmond.
