Stitchwerks: Costume Design
In this program, led by our Instructor-in-Residence Sam Page and Assistant Mentor Simi Rideb, students explored design careers within performing arts with a focus on costuming! Students had a chance to meet with professionals in the field, and create their own designs by exploring draping, digital illustration, up-cycling fabrics, and more! Although this program ended early due to Covid-19 in March, we plan to continue this program in the spring of 2021 with Armstrong High.
Tuesdays, February 11th- April 28th, with Armstrong Center 4 Empowermeant @ Armstrong High School.
