OA JET Graduation Requirements
Minimum Requirements to become an OA JET Graduate
Have obtained a 4 year film related degree or have equivalent work experience.
Be in the OA JET program for at least one year
Complete at least 80 training hours within the OA JET program (includes set hours on OA JET training film).
Take part in at least on of the OA JET annual training films and complete the following related tasks
Complete a script breakdown for your department
Support your department in your job capacity and receive satisfactory assessment from your supervisor
Utilize the production software incorporated into that semester’s curriculum (Filmustage & Studio Binder)
Follow OA JET communication protocols
Be present for all production days of a OA JET training film (if not able to be there for all of one production you must work least 2 of OA JET’s Productions).
Work at least 2 in-person prep days (or 1 prep & 1 wrap)
Attend 4 planning meetings Attend the PA training and set protocols
Attend 2 departmental meeting (outside your area of interest)
Contribute one google slide about your position for the wrap presentation
Complete the feedback questionnaire
Attend OA JET Wrap Party & Debrief Session
Get a 90 or above on Set Training quiz
Complete a minimum of 10 volunteer hours for Oakwood Arts within first year of program
Maintain consistent communication and respond to emails related to OA JET program
Complete weekly job reporting forms when placed on union or freelance gigs
Report income via job reporting forms from the start of the program for one year.
Display respect for all team members (including OA JET alumni and OA staff) and to make a commitment to mentor future OA JET cohort members as they advance in their production careers.
