During this half day week-long program, students interested in museum studies learned the ins and outs of exhibition planning, design, and curation through field trips to various exhibitions around the city. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about related museum careers directly from industry professionals in the field. In conjunction with the summer photography class at the Black History Museum, participants used the skills they have learned during the week, to assist in planning and curating an exhibit of the students photographic works.
